Contact Plasma-Automation 800-563-8510. I looked at their machines a few years ago. I ended up buying another plasma brand, but they were very good at answering my questions.

If you cut a sheet and all but one piece cuts for whatever reason, move the cursor over the piece to be re-cut. Press "S". That selects the piece. Then press F7(Cut one piece). When it is done press "K" to park the gantry out of the way.

If your torch flames-out in the middle of a cut, you can reverse the direction of cut and re-cut the piece. Move the cursor over the piece and press "S". Click on the "Cut" softkey on the screen. The F7 key should say "Reverse direction". If it does, press it if not, press F9. Now it does. Press it. This will reverse the direction of cut on this one piece only. Press F9 again to make the F7 key say"Cut one piece" and then press it to cut the piece.
Any time you have a problem call Plasma Automation and tell the operator you have a software question and she'll hook you up with the smart guys who can walk you through it.
Also, the help file in the software is pretty good.

Default Vicon

I flew from PHX to Erie in the mid '80's to look at thier factory, which was more of a barn. I never heard of the unit again until today. How old is it?
Is that the one that cuts duct liner also?

My machine is 6 years old and will cut liner with the plasma torch, however we don't because it makes a strange odor that we don't want circulating in a new building. They now have a 20' table that cuts your liner on one end mechanically and metal on the other end with plasma using the same gantry(http://www.plasma-automation.com/modDL8000.html). I don't know if you have to manually change-out the plasma head with the insulation head or if they are both on the same gantry.
