LINK74 here. I stumbled on your site while looking up information on some used shop fabrication equipment I recently got. I have many years in the refrigeration industry with most in the HVAC residential service and replacement side.
Along with learning to calling in metal orders to a fabrication shop I learned to make some tie in fittings in the field with basic sheet metal hand tools, a Hensler's bender and occasionally a 4' portable brake.
I have my own show rolling now and I am putting together an in house fabrication shop to expand our know how and abilities.
I still like klenk snips with the spur and bare metal handles. In fact, I have always taken pleasure in making all my trainees cut off the plastic handles on their new snips. ---just kidding.
