Forming .030 tin into 3" round x 13/16" deep can w

Hi all! Well, I've been trying to research making a metal stamping that will need to be 3" outside diameter and approx 13/16" deep with a step/lip at one end. Material will be .030 thick, mild steel/tin. I only need about 100 of these and not sure if I should attempt to buy equipment and learn how to make this piece or? How much do you think I should need to invest to make these parts? I am a newbie for sure! Bought a lathe to make other parts I needed and that worked out great. Now I need a different part made and just thought I would ask for some advice from experienced people. Maybe I should farm this project out....... Thanks for any and all advice.
