I have three old kick presses that I want to set up and use but I don't have any dies for them. I will make simple ones like dimpling dies and have to use a two step die with spring hold down with neoprene ends so it doesn't mark the materials.
Anyone have any ideas or knowledge of uses for the kick presses? Any place to get dies? I think they will develop from 1 to 3 tons pressure maybe more.
Thanks.

If you search Diacro tooling alot of suppliers will come up. My press is set up for punching holes and braking with Vee dies. I like Cleveland punch and die, they have a good support staff and will help with any questions. Bud, they may be a good advertiser.
How deeps the throat on your press?

Well surprise me! There are five of them back there buried under "stuff," good stuff, and all are in excellent condition minus tooling. But arbors and tables, which two of the bigger ones screws up and down on a 10" screw base.
The biggest one's throat is 10" - 11" with a height of about 8" from table to arbor, the other is 7" depth with 6" - 7" working height, the others are about 4 x 4. Then there's an electric really small famco press that can just do metal label stamping, grommets or something.
