Here's a photo of the project that the sheet metal competitors had to make at the Skills USA competition this June 2010 in Kansas City

The image link didn't work out - and I did a search for the events.

http://www.skillsusa.org/events/index.shtml and really can't see any pictures of the work?

Can you upload the image to this site? Welcome to the site and Thanks for joining us.

The photo was taken by one of instructors at the competition. I had posted it at another site and used their link.

Nice work. Is that button lock on the seam and collar?

Or it looks like it might be spot welded?

Not sure it was one of other instructors at Scott Community College that accompanied our HVAC contestant to the competition. The sheet metal contestant, and 1st place winner, was from Des Moines Area Community College.

It was said that a few of the contestants didn't finish the project. I do very little sheet metal work and it would take me a few hours and Budzik just to get my mind set into making that fitting. I'm impressed at the level of expertise of the contestants.
