hello i copied a question on nov 2009
(1.1414 xoffset) -2 (.414x (clr) centre line radius this is the formula
example degree of elbow: 60=.577
45=.414
30=2.00???????????is.268
example in your situation
45 degree elbow 48x20
(1.414x36 offset)-2(.414x72)
=21.288 thats the length of the duct in between your on your two 45 degree elbow...
my question is: let's say the 48*20 offset of 36" got to fit in 75" space
it might fit for all degree 30,45,60 with any kind of radius
but if i pick 45º and clr and if fit within 75" : i want to know the diaganal lenght between offset plus know the straight at one end to reach 75"
plus even more challenge: have a formula to find the exact degree elbow & clr (ex. 55º & 112"clr)with no straight in between if possible in that case
i've been trying to find that formula for many years
hope you understand my question
thanks
