| Here is the fountain I've been working on lately. The cast concrete bowl and statue were the original fountain with water out of the fish's mouth flowing into the bowl. Over time the bowl cracked and leaked and after a stint as a planter, it was disassembled. We resurrected it, re-worked the bowl to have eight spouts that spilled into a new copper (10' dia) lower pool, rebuilt necessary parts out of copper and added some embellishments. All of the stone work surrounding the lower pool is new as well. |

You always have the neatest fountains, I mean really, your handle should be "FountainMan" I am curious about the lower pool the hole that looks like it is a trough or something ?? What is its purpose ? I bet the owner is very happy with the end result !! |

| Right you are, Stickman. It is the inlet to an open trough that the water runs through to get to the skimmer and filtering system. These are usually buried, but due to elevational considerations we ran it above ground as an open trough so that you can see the water and it will have some string lights illuminating the running water on it's way to the skimmer. That is part of the work that remains. I'll get some night pictures of it when finished. |

As we all come to expect from you another fine project (an understatement) from a great craftsman!
Thanks for sharing. |

beautifull work -
I just hope that no crack head steals the copper and destroys that piece of art. |
