Greetings again,
Since the internet is one of the best places to find hard to get things, maybe some of you could find some of this stuff.
I'm trying to find any places that still put out "tinsmiths findings".
Mainly different sizes of kettle ears or "bail ears" as they call them sometimes. These are whats used on buckets and pails to attach the wire handle or "bail". I've got a source for 1 size so far but that's about it.
I was also trying to find a source for small brass or wooden knobs called finials. these are fairly small( about 3/8 in. in dia. and about that tall.)
Well, hope you can help.
Thanks again

RStone,
Well... You're one step ahead of me.
I thought I had found bucket ears, but it turned out to be something for earth moving equipment.
Please share your source, because I'd like to make an ash bucket for briquette ash. (I do outdoor dutch oven cooking)
I haven't tried searching for finials, but I'll give it a go and see what I can come up with for yaa, |
