I have been an Aircraft Mechanic for 18 yrs and really enjoyed the sheetmetal skill for the few years I was in it. I have done heavy sheetmetal overhaul for a major airline.

Hi Tincrusher, maybe you can help us find others - what type of aircraft industry magazines do sheet metal works in this field look to read or learn from?

I work in aircraft sheetmetal its a pretty good gig. I really find it pleaseing to be able to use a press brake and make parts to within .008 inch tollerance. its realtivly new to me. i have been here for 2 years and worked in aviation for quite some time. 8 years in the navy and 3 years in and aircraft maint. facility, and now in a model shop building avionics parts and mounts for aircraft.
