Hello guys,
I was wondering, if anybody had experience designing, fabricating, and installing filter bag houses. I want to build one to for the exhaust on my plasma table. My shop is located on a acreage in a residential subdivision, and the particles, and smoke from the exhaust are becoming a nuisance. I have installed pre fabbed bag houses, but never fabricated on myself. Any tips on sizing, fabricating, types of filter media would be greatly appreciated.
I am exhausting 3500 cfm of dirty air, intake w.g is approx 1.75 in and discharge is roughly .05 in. Is this pressure to low to use a bag house efficiently. We sized it this way to minimize air/fan noise, as we are not in a industrial area.

| I have a book from the american blower company that might have some info in there, I'll check later or in the morning to see what it might have for you. |
