I just found this message board and found lots of good info from your posts. I have a Tennsmith air-powered shear and I've noticed it's starting to "foldover" some of my material if it's sheared too close to an edge of the material. Is there an adjustment or do I need to sharpen the blades or do you have any other ideas?

Are your blades still sharp? Run the top of your fingernail across the blade edge. Does it peel any of your nail off? If so, then the blades are sharp. If not, then you can flip the blades to a unused sharp side.

It also sounds like your blades are gapped too wide. You need to shim the blades to a .002" gap all along the blade length.

The blade gap adjustment steps are located in your manual.

Chad.
