I am guessing that I will be a beginner again. I have been out of the trade for 15 years. I always wanted my own shop. Not for production work, but for specialized work and some ideas that I have. I spent six years in the Navy in a sheetmetal shop aboard ship. One ship in particular, had the coolest sheetmetal shop. I really enjoyed building and forming different projects over the years.
Besides the usual business practices, I am lookinh to learn the English wheel. I think Im patient enough to learn this on my own with a little help with some literature. Is there a good source out here? I also used to be a good aluminum tig welder, Ill just need the practice again.
I will probably also be in the market for an 8ft. brake, 4 ft. finger brake, shear, 2 foot roller, pipe bender, and others. I looked at the classifieds on this website, and believe it or not, I still remember!!! This is an excellent site which I will be using much in the future. Any help would be appreciated.
