Hi Guys

I'm looking for a sheet metal that's CHROMED.

Is there such a thing Question

I know I can get polished alumimun but I need sheet metal for heat resistance.

MY PURPOSE 4 THE CHROMED SHEET METAL

I want to cut-out some pieces to go under the hood of my classic Ford Mustang Convertible. It looks like a glass mirror under the hood.

Can any you guys tell where I can get it please Question

I think you're looking for 430 stainless. OnlineMetals has it. I never cared much for it. the cut edges will rust.

I have purchased small quantitys in the past for use on some small jobs from Mirrored Stainless Solutions , here is the link to thier website :

You can also purchase #8 polished Aluminum sheet from most Metal dist .
I have purchased some in 4'x8' sheet in the past from Pierce Aluminum and also small pieces from McMaster Carr for home projects .
