Times are getting tough for many small businesses - maybe we can help our friends of the trades.
If you know someone in that has their own business going on or you yourself has something to tell us, tell us here? We'll use this forum for sharing links to our friends and family businesses. |

| I'm actually in the process of starting my own business. I guess I'm actually still in the planning stage right now. I've been hammering a lot of sheet metal "on the side" and working a lot of late nights so I'm looking to make a go of it on my own and make it legit. So any info/tips that I could get on here would be great. |

I wish you a much success. Be prepared for hard work, but don't forget to control the business, do not let it control you.
What part of the industry are you looking into? Fabricating, HVAC?
Do you already have sheet metal equipment or will you be looking to purchase some? |

| I've been mostly fabricating(which is what I love). But I've done my fair share of installations. I've been in the trade for 14 years now with about 10 of them doing fabrication. Thanks for the well wishes. I expect it to be a lot of hard work but at this point, I'm already pounding in the hours with my regular job and my "side jobs". I'm just hoping I can make enough to feed the family and maybe buy the occasional case of beer lol. |
