There are right and wrong ways of duct use and installations and then there is the way many may have learned from others coming up through the trade and we think it’s the correct way and it might move air, but is it the most efficient way? We changed the title of this forum from Air Flow to Duct Construction and Uses to spark some discussions that might be looked over and may help you, myself as well as the industry in general.
Feel free to discuss standards, methods, and products. I always read the special section included in Snips for SPIDA – it tells me there is a need for open discussion. Spida has an email based program that allows it’s members to ask questions, both practical technical – how many here might have questions and what type of discussions are going on that might benefit all in the industry – I did belong to another group for a short period of time that had similar email based forums and it was hard for me to sort through the things that interested me and other topics that did not…so for me it was a bit time consuming and slow going, for others it worked out well. Please join us!
Thanks again for helping us help others. |
