I will try my best to do a modern version of this old lamp ,all by spinning
and i will post a step by step picture of the process ,ill do them in steel for now
I am not sure to find the telephone cord type wire any one have an idea?

| Bazz, cool project! About the wire, seems if you couldn't find cloth covered single wire, you could at least strip a single wire out of a piece of romex, wrap it around a pencil for the coil, slide it off the end and Presto! you have it. You're probably way ahead of me here tho'. I look forward to your posts on this. |

Thanks ,i was thinking about it i think the wire will be made for decoration only .the power line will run in the center
i am afraid that if i use a solid copper wire it will work harden and brake with all the movement it is going to have ,ill go shopping and see what i can find
this is a good project to show alot of spinning operations i use steel 20 gage , wood mandrel for the first few one and scissor tool (tool with roller) |
