Just curious which CAD package can download to the most plasma cutters. In East Coast CAD there are two options EC-Maker or Vulcan.

Probably PM2000. PractriCam is supposed to work with most any machine. Most packages can communicate with most any standard control using word address or essi format and rs232 communication or LAN.

I am really looking for the shop drawing software not necessarily the CAM software. Programs like CAD-Duct, CAD Pipe, Shop Data Systems, ect.

What make is your plasma table? Do you want to export to an existing CAM software?

Which tables do individual CAD programs support?

The Cam side is what would produce NC for the machine. Cad-duct for example would export to PM2000 (cam) Or you open the job or list of fittings in PM2000 which is nested & code written for the machine. Unless nesting & NC features has been added to the Cad package. In this case that would also make the cad software in fact cam software as well. The Cam software is what you need to be compatible with the machine. In other words your cad must be compatible with your cam software or must be cam software itself. I don't know of any commercial machines Cad-Duct/PM2000 is not compatible with. SDS may be compatible with all commercial machines. Probably the biggest obstacle would be running a Vicon with other software because of the way it is controlled. Its possible, it just depends on if the software company finds it worthwhile to do it.

Excuse me, but do you mean because it is controlled by fiber optics? Or do it's controllers use proprietary parts and everyone else uses the same industry standard parts?

No, fiber or wire isn't the problem. It uses a different type of control. Just a desktop PC. It doesn't have an industry standard control.
