Howdy All,
Anyone know of an affordable 3rd party add In for drawing duct in AutoCAD ? Only thing i can find is CADDuct but thats out of my price range @ $4000. I found a few others but they are mostly for laod calcs and duct sizing. I'm looking to do shop drawings.

AutoCAD has a duct drawing module, but it is not able to manufacture off drawings(to a plasma table or coil line). If you are looking for a low cost alternative, the AutoCAD duct module might be your best bet. We sell CADDuct Drafting, I don't know if that is what you are looking at. (There are several out there with the name CADDuct) It is the most comperhensive duct drafting program in the market today. I hope this helps!
Try the link above. Never used it but it is cheap. If you don't need the duct manufactured or in 3D just draw it in 2d in Autocad with the use of blocks etc it can be pretty fast. Did it for years.BobLuland - Jul 01, 2005 - 04:30 AM Post subject:
