I don't know if this is the correct forum, but...

We are a small HVAC Shop who has been making our own ductwork pieces for a while. We are about to branch out and start making ductwork for others. What I am looking for it help on how to bid ductwork. I have heard by the pound. by the sq. ft. etc.

Biding buy the pound in this day and age will bankrupt you! Check out Quotesoft.com. Kerry is good people. Good software for the smaller companys. Bob

Try DUCTCALC they have a free download ,it;s by the pound but at least it will get you in the ball park .The price per pond and waste factor are easily changed to meet your needs.Been a big help for me when making duct for other people ,they give me sizes and lengths and i give them a print out of the cost including the drives and "s" locks.
